Barthaz proudly upholds ADA compliance throughout the design process and stands with all marginalized peoples, including the LGBTQ+ community.

“As long as I’ve been able to hold a pencil, I’ve used it as a means to create a better world. Growing up in the turn of the digital age, pre-2000s, the internet unlocked a whole new world of possibilities for me. Creating personal art for ‘Neopets’ and digital-art communities was where I found my comfort and pieces of my identity,” the artist stated.

“To me, ‘Barthaz’ represents a piece of childhood creativity as it was originally the misread of the name ‘Balthazar’ when I was a kid. I wanted to pay homage to that feeling by keeping the name Barthaz for my business."

With a bachelor's degree in Fine Art focusing in design and post-WWII art, Barthaz harnesses a unique skillset of both traditional techniques and modern digital ones to match. From papermaking and printmaking, to web design and animation, Barthaz isn't afraid to mix-and-match or color outside the lines. "My unique set of skills allows me to make better informed decisions for my clients and the medium at hand. I am not bound by one category or medium, rather the link across all art and design is our human experience," he said.
